About me (YaSloom): I have previously been Rank 1 in 3v3 on Eu-W with several teams and I have formed a new team to achieve this Rank again. I have a wide experience in 3v3 due to playing with and against a lot of Challenger teams. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter , Twitch and YouTube.
This tier list is just my opinion from my experiences on Twisted Treeline and you don’t have to follow it. The champions in each tier are not organized in any order; champions in the same tier can be stronger than others, depending on your team composition and the enemy team composition.
Explanation of Tiers:
God Tier: These champions are the best and they outclass all other champions in their roles.
Tier 1: Champions in this tier are very strong, but they are easier to deal with than God Tier champions.
Tier 2: These champions are viable situational or counter picks. They are not contested picks.
Tier 3: Champions in this tier are rarely picked and almost never banned. Champions in higher tiers can do their jobs better.
Tier 4: This tier is very rarely picked and they are considered below average.
Tier 5: These champions are considered weak on Twisted Treeline and are not recommended for picks.
The arrows symbol next to a champion’s name will indicate whether they have climbed (↑) or fallen (↓) in the Tier list.

Champions worth mentioning
God Tier
Kayle: The cooldown nerf to her ult was deserved but I don’t think that’s enough to knock her down from god tier. Her Kit is way too strong still and that nerf isn’t gonna be THAT much of a huge difference. She is a really good all around champion, gives the team utility, damage, cc and her ultimate is really strong in team fights. She is banned or picked in almost every game at the Challenger level.
Tryndamere: The spinning and ult cooldown nerfs were nice and all but the main problem with him is the lane dominance off random crits that automatically win the lane. His RNG makes him broken on the Twisted Treeline much more than his cooldowns, and this means for the foreseeable future he will remain a top tier champion.
Leona: One of the best supports in TT. Leona has 3 stuns (1 of them is AOE) and she can bully 2v1 lanes really hard as well as invade the jungler after pushing to make his life miserable. She can engage, disengage and protect high priority targets.
Jarvan IV: At level 2, Jarvan can easily force an enemy flash early on. When paired with another CC-based champion in lane you can get first blood easily. He doesn’t need items or gold to be effective, and they can initiate or disengage very effectively. He is strong during all stages of the game, can bully the enemy jungler after pushing lane, and can deny jungle camps.
Cassiopeia: Cassiopeia is still very strong despite her nerf because of her high mobility, slows, and natural speed boosts.
Karma: The most picked AP champion in the European Challenger Tier. Her kit is just amazing and consists of everything you could ever want from an ability power champion. She got amazing poke with her Soul Flare, insane kiting potential, and her entire kit is utility, a slow, a root, a heal, a shield and a speed buff. She is by far the best AP support on the Twisted Treeline. She is Lissandra’s defensive sister.
Tier 1
Fizz: The fact he has two highly damaging gap closers on relatively short cooldown, and that his ult is capable of decimating an entire team means that Fizz is a game changing champion on the Twisted Treeline. If he hits more than one person with his ultimate (much easier than SR), he can easily win teamfights by himself.
Lulu: Despite her nerf on her ultimate, Lulu is still extremely good because of her low cooldowns and utility as a support champion.
Xin Zhao: He is very underplayed in EUW but I think he is one of the strongest junglers out there. His early game ganks are quite insane thanks to his damage and CC. He is also one of the strongest dueling junglers out there early on so he can take control of enemy jungle quite easily.
Wukong: His passive was nerfed and his ult cooldown was slightly increased both well deserved nerfs and it should bring him to a more balanced status. He is still quite annoying to deal with when you are playing a mage or a squishy champion.
Tier 3
Jinx: Because of the assassin – Bruiser meta going on and Jinx has no escape mechanism she can get caught easily because of the lack of mobility. It’s true she has a massive movement speed buff on her passive but that requires someone dying and in 3v3 you can’t rely on that beacuse most of the time you are against tanky champion that take long in a team fight to die. So basically an adc without mobility just doesn’t work well in TT.
Olaf: Honestly I don’t see much of a difference in this dude, he just feels weaker than the other top bruisers. The changes feel like a slight buff to him and makes him a bit better but so far I wasn’t amazed by the changes at all
Hecarim: Hecarim has high gank and snowball potential and because of his knock back he can force a flash early on really easily. His snowballing potential is really amazing if he gets a couple of kills early on. His late game is really strong as well specially in sustained and long teamfights.
