About Me (YaSloom) : I have 3 teams in top 5 Challenger 3v3 in EU-W. I have a wide experience in 3v3 due to playing with and against many other Challenger players. I have tried and seen a whole lot of team compositions and tactics in 3v3. You can find me on Facebook and YouTube.
Why are you making this tier list ? : I am making this tier list to share my experience on Twisted Treeline, and give everyone a general idea about the good champions on it.
This tier list is just my opinion from my experiences on Twisted Treeline and you don’t have to follow it. The champions in each tier are not organized in any order; champions in the same tier can be stronger than others, depending on your team composition and the enemy team composition.
The tier list has been divided into 4 roles based on the current Twisted Treeline metagame to make it easier for people to understand which roles champions can fill. Some champions can fill multiple roles but have varying degrees of effectiveness in different roles. Bolded champions are discussed in depth after the tier list.

Champions worth mentioning:
Aatrox: With just a BotRK, he can solo Vilemaw at any given point, even at low hp. He has amazing late game and his passive can be really strong in team fights. Aatrox is hard to gank in lane because of his Q (his jump), and his Q also works as a mini Malphite ult to engage team fights. The problem with him is that without his revive passive, he isn’t that much of a threat in team fights. He can be countered by hard cc and burst damage to deny his lifesteal.
AD Thresh: The more AD you build on him, the more magic damage you do with E’s passive. Thresh has a lot of cc and utility to the team and if you match him with a hard cc support (Leona, for example) the lane becomes truly terrifying.
Kayle: She is a really good all around champion, gives the team utility, damage, cc and her ultimate is really strong in team fights. She is banned or picked in almost every game at the Challenger level.
Why are Xin Zhao and Jarvan IV tier 1 supports?: At level 2, both Jarvan and Xin can apply heavy pressure to lanes, and they can easily force an enemy flash early on. When paired with another cc-based champion in lane you can get first blood easily. They don’t need items or gold to be effective, and they can initiate or disengage very effectively. Both are strong during all stages of the game, can bully the enemy jungler after pushing lane, and deny him jungle camps.
Karma: She is quite underrated at the moment, she gives AoE shield to the team and 60 % movement speed which is a great engaging and disengaging tool. She can kite melees really easily and the tight terrain in Twisted Treeline makes her Q really hard to dodge.
Annie: This little girl received several buffs over the patches and she is really strong right now in 3v3. Her AP scaling is quite high and her 2 second stun is really good in team fights.
Leona: One of the best supports in TT. Leona has 3 stuns (1 of them is AOE) and she can bully 2v1 lanes really hard as well as invade the jungler after pushing to make his life miserable. She can engage, disengage and protect high priority targets.
Kha’Zix: His changes in the last patch was actually a buff to him in 3v3. His q damage is really strong, he can assassinate high priority targets very effectively, he is really hard to catch and he can kill Vilemaw extremely fast due to his passive and Q.
Change Log:
Janna was added to AP Mage category – Tier 2
